First prices in euros: Intel Arc B580 from 319.90 euros listed in custom design 176 comments

The Intel Arc B580 and Intel Arc B570 have an official suggested retail price of US$259 and US$219 respectively before taxes; Intel has not yet announced pricing for Europe. The first offers of the price comparison see three custom B580 models from ASRock and Sparkle at more than 319.90 euros. However, these first offers are usually a little too high.
Intel Arc B580: on sale from December 13, but at what price?
Officially, the Intel Arc B580 won’t go on sale until December 13 and the B570 won’t go on sale until January 16, 2025. Online retailer Proshop, which carries the ASRock Arc B580 Challenger and Steel Legend as well as the Sparkle Arc B580 Titan OC, did it but this delay is obviously ignored. Those who pre-order from this retailer currently have to pay 319.90 euros for the ASRock Challenger, 329.90 euros for the Sparkle Titan OC and 339.90 euros for the ASRock Steel Legend.

For comparison: an AMD Radeon RX 7600 8 GB costs 262 euros less, while an AMD Radeon 7600 XT with 16 GB costs a little more at 346 euros. The GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB costs at least 295 euros. The 4060 wants to beat Intel by almost 10% on average and at the same time presents itself with 12 GB of VRAM instead of 8. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (test) proves once again that 8 GB, even in Full HD , are not enough for worry-free gaming, even if the raw performance of the GPU would be sufficient for the smallest details.
Limited edition at 299 euros?
It is quite possible that Intel will keep its own limited edition at 299 euros below the psychologically important mark of 300 euros. However, this has not been confirmed and there is also no answer to the question of how long Intel itself will sell the reference model. However, Intel emphasized that the number of units is indeed limited.

Three custom models of the Gunnir Arc B580 are now listed in German price comparisons via an Amazon Marketplace reseller: Gunnir Arc B580 Index, Gunnir Arc B580 Photon OC Black and Gunnir Arc B580 Photon OC White.
With prices starting at just under 400 euros, these offers are undoubtedly too high. This is probably also due to the fact that Gunnir is not officially active in this country, so resellers who offer this product must arrange the import themselves.
The official start of sales of the Intel Arc B580 is expected next Friday along with other products or offers from ASrock, Acer or Sparkle, which have already introduced Arc graphics cards in Germany.
