At CES 2025, Geekom unveils three mini PCs equipped with AMD, Intel and Qualcomm chips. But it will still take some time for these measures to arrive. Asked by Techastuce, the company replied that it only expected this from the second quarter.
On paper, Geekom offers a very wide range of mini PCs. There are different versions of the three basic systems with AMD Strix Point, Intel Core Ultra 200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon X1E and always different powerful chips, which cover the widest possible field.
Geekom A9 Max with AMD Strix Point
At the top of the announcements is the new A9 Max from Geekom, which is based on an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX, available in the versions 365, 370 and 375. Almost everything has already been said about these AMD Strix Point APUs are characterized by very high CPU and GPU performance, as well as a powerful NPU. Two SO-DIMM slots in the mini PC can hold up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600, two M.2 ports correspond to SSDs. Intel LAN and WLAN for maximum compatibility, two HDMIs, countless USB ports and a card reader are among the high-end features of the model.
Geekom IT2 Ultra and IT15 with Intel Arrow Lake-H
Geekom has two solutions in its program for Intel’s new Core Ultra 200 in a mobile version. According to the detailed product description, these can offer almost all new mobile solutions with different parameters: Intel Core 15th Arrow Lake H (Ultra 5/Ultra7 TDP 28W, Ultra 9 TDP 45W, Ultra 7-265H, Ultra 9-285H with vPro). Here, too, SO-DIMM support is available via two slots, and mass storage is also implemented via two M.2. Also Intel LAN and WLAN, two HDMI ports, USB and a card reader.
Geekom QS1 with Qualcomm Snapdragon X1E
Geekom’s new QS1 is a unique selling point, as it brings a Qualcomm chip to this mini PC market for the first time, officially as a retail release and not just a development kit. According to Geekom, the new QS1 will be available in variants with Qualcomm X1E-80-100, X1E-78-100 and X1P-42-100 SoCs, but the focus will be on the variant with X1E-80-100. In this mini PC, the LPDDR5-8400 memory is still soldered, but according to the manufacturer it can still reach 64 GB – the final configurations here should be exciting. The rest of the mini PC matches the typical features that all others offer in the same or very similar form; here too there are Intel LAN and Qualcomm WLAN, an HDMI and a DisplayPort, USB ports and a card reader.

According to Geekom, most of these solutions will not be available for sale until the second quarter, although some select models may appear a little earlier. And some configurations and solutions may not succeed at all – there was still a question mark with the IT2 Ultra – depending on the availability of certain chips, some markets are pre-sorted.
The offer is also supplemented in other areas where prices are a little more sensitive. With the A6, the company offers a mini PC in the sub-$500 class that still relies on a fast eight-core chip, in AMD’s case, equipped with the same features as the other new mini PCs on offer. This solution should be available worldwide from mid-January 2025.
