Govee, a welcome alternative to Philips Hue lamps for many, presents a new gaming pixel lamp for gamers at CES 2025 and lets the light shine in cooperation with JBL. In 2025, Govee wants to expand further into the field of intelligent ambient lighting – so AI is also a priority here.
Pixel-Art Gaming Light Screen
Govee’s highlight for CES is the Govee Gaming Pixel Light. It is a smart lighting solution designed to enhance gaming and entertainment experiences with a dynamic, vibrant and customizable pixel display. Users can easily create and customize pixel art with AI-generated content (AIGC). The app can be used to translate voice commands into light using the “Lighting Bot”. For example, the command “I want a universe style lighting effect.” is intended to present a galaxy in pixel art.
Additionally, pixel lighting effects can be synchronized with the user’s music or games. Real-time content such as weather information, time or sports programs as well as the current Bitcoin price can also be displayed on the Pixel Light. Images and GIFs can also be uploaded through the app and translated into lighting effects on the LED screen. You can also choose from over 150 lighting scenes. Animations should be displayed at 30 frames per second to ensure smooth display. Retro speakers with an 8-bit key can provide acoustic accompaniment to what’s being played.
The Govee Gaming Pixel Light will be available in two different sizes: a rectangular shape and a square shape. The square model measures 18.5 × 15 cm and offers 1,024 “pixels”. The rectangular model measures 26.6 × 15 cm and offers 1,664 pixels. Both are designed for wall mounting as well as tabletop. In terms of design, Govee is clearly aimed at gamers. Smart control with Alexa, Google Home and the Govee Home app is also available for the Gaming Pixel Light.
Govee is not yet revealing pricing; the market launch is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025.
Govee 2 Pro x Sound Table Lamp by JBL
For the “Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL”, a table lamp, the company works with JBL and combines music and light effects. The displayed effects adapt to the music playing in real time. Even without music, numerous lighting modes can be played on the curved surface, for which 210 LED zones (RGBICWW) can be controlled independently of each other. The brightness can reach 600 lumens.

A 2.5-inch, 10-watt full-range speaker and two passive radiators are responsible for the sound. If desired, two tubes can also be combined as a pair for multi-directional sound.
Equipped with a built-in 5200 mAh battery, you can take the lamp with you and change its location flexibly. Control is via the Govee Home app or voice assistants such as Google Home and Alexa with Matter compatibility for better smart home integration.
The table lamp is expected to be available towards the end of the second quarter of 2025. Govee has not yet announced pricing for it.
