Based on the B850: ASRock presents 16 new motherboards for the AM5 28 comments

After Asus has already announced ten new B850/B840 motherboards for socket AM5, ASRock is also presenting new boards based on the cheaper B850 chipset at CES 2025. Across all series, a total of 16 new boards, from the Mini- ITX to ATX format, are available. arriving on the market.
B850 and B840 complete the new range
With the release of the Ryzen 9000, the 800 series chipsets for Socket AM5 also arrived. Until now, only the high-end versions X870 and X870E were on the market; consumer cards in the form of the B850 and B840 were still a long time coming. Three times Phantom Gaming from ITX to ATX
The luxury version of ASRock’s B850 cards is the Phantom Gaming series, which hits the market in three formats (ITX, mATX and ATX). The exact specifications can be found on the respective manufacturer’s website:

Steel Legend, LiveMixer and Pro (RS) – 6 additional ATX cards
There will also be six ATX motherboards from the Steel Legend, LiveMixer, Pro RS and Pro-A series. The B850 Steel Legend WiFi features a white PCB, placing an even clearer emphasis on white builds than its predecessors, which only featured white or silver accents.
The B850 LiveMixer, on the other hand, is much more discreet than its predecessors and should not fall into the paint bucket. The B850 Pro RS and Pro-A each come with a variant with and without WLAN and both gradually complement the ATX range. The specifications of the six cards can be found from the manufacturer:

Micro-ATX represents the entry-level class
On the mATX board side, in addition to the small offshoots of the Steel Legend, Pro RS and Pro-A series, you can also find the absolute entry-level class in the form of the ASRock B850M-X. Again, a variant with and without integrated WLAN support is available for all cards except the Steel Legend. In addition to the Phantom Gaming B850M Riptide mentioned above, seven other mATX format motherboards are coming to the market:

Prices and availability
ASRock has not mentioned a suggested price for the new motherboards based on the B850 chipset, and at the moment there is no notable listing in the price comparison, and certainly not directly available. The exact launch date is not yet known, but it is expected soon.
