With the Xeneon Edge, Corsair is expanding its portfolio at with a secondary display capable of displaying system information and applications on 14.5 inches. Commands and applications can also be executed via touch support.

Information display for an optimal overview

The Corsair Xeneon Edge serves the user as a small information screen and control center. The 14.5-inch touchscreen features a resolution of 2560 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. In addition to displaying system information, calendar and weather data can also be displayed. Corsair also talks about displaying chat channels and playing , but doesn’t go into detail either. However, it would be possible for Discord integration to sometimes be offered via a widget. The display is integrated and managed via internal iCUE software.

As support or for installation

The secondary display comes with a stand so it can be installed horizontally as desired. However, the stand can also be disassembled. The Corsair Xeneon Edge can then be pinned to metal surfaces using 14 magnets located within the case frame. In addition, it can be screwed onto a 360mm radiator space and can therefore also be installed inside a PC case. Vertical screen alignment is also possible.

The Xeneon Edge can be connected via USB-C (DP Alt-Mode) or HDMI. However, one might wonder how the screen is powered. In principle, this would be possible via USB-C, but would leave the question of HDMI unanswered. The product images also don’t show a separate power input. In addition to an HDMI and USB-C cable, the delivery also includes a 10-pin USB (internal) to USB-C cable, so it can be assumed that this must also be connected when using HDMI. Techconseil has requested clarification from Corsair on this matter.

The Corsair Xeneon Edge is expected to be available starting in the second quarter of 2025. Corsair has not yet announced pricing.

Techconseil received information about this article from Corsair under NDA. The only requirement was the earliest possible publication date.
