Rumors are rife these days regarding AMD’s new graphics cards. Because AMD itself has not revealed much about the first RDNA 4 models. After supposedly the first benchmarks, there is now information on the date of the first test reports and the prices of the RX 9070 XT .
Tests on January 22, market release on January 24?
Even if the information remains unconfirmed for the moment, it generally comes from reliable sources. The date notice was also posted on the Chiphell forum, where screenshots with alleged benchmark results from an RX 9070 XT could be seen shortly before.
From now on, January 22 is mentioned as the presumed date for the cancellation of an NDA. It is reasonable to assume that the first test reports can then be published. Photos posted on Reddit reveal that samples have already been distributed. You can see a model from Gigabyte here.

In this context, VideoCardz points out that AMD partner January 24. AMD would then have about a week head start before the launch of Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 on January 30.

Here’s how much the RX 9070 XT should cost
There are also rumors about the price level. We are talking about $479 for the RX 9070 XT in the reference design. Some custom designs would cost around $549. However, if these are similar to the reference design, the price will also be closer to it. As always, these figures in US dollars do not include VAT.
The starting price of the Radeon RX 9070 XT would therefore be lower than that of the GeForce RTX 5070, which starts in February from $549 (MSRP before taxes) or 649 euros (VAT included).
