CB Radio Podcast #100: New details on the RTX 50, RX 9000 and processors at CES 3 comments
A week before the GeForce RTX 5090 tests, there are new benchmarks and details on Blackwell gaming GPU technology, which Jan and Fabian analyze. AMD offers new X3D processors, but what’s going on with Radeon? And how can listeners win one of three Darkmode Techtip Cups? There are answers in the podcast.
Radio CB: The hundredth episode
After performance is before testing, that’s this week’s motto. Just in time for CB-Funk’s 100th episode, Nvidia has released new details on RTX 50 graphics card technology, background information on the potential of neural shaders, and new benchmarks, which Jan and Fabian discuss in detail. Many impressions from last week are reinforced, but there are also some surprises.
After CES, AMD was also available for these: the Radeon RX 9070 followed but lots of information, promises and even a taste of the FSR-4. AMD’s marketing department is also raising eyebrows in the second calendar week of this still young year.
In addition to the Sunday question, which this time focused on the community’s first impression of graphics cards, other topics include new processors from AMD and Intel. AMD will launch the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D with another 3D V-cache chipset in March, while Intel has already released a cheaper Core Ultra 200.
