Deepcool CG530 4F: The cheapest ATX glass case to date 28 comments

“CG530 4F” doesn’t sound like anything amid descriptive, sometimes aggressive product names. What makes Deepcool’s ATX case interesting is what it offers: an all-glass case format with four fans without any shortcuts – at a low price. The model is currently winning the price war for this type of ATX case.
The display case has no support on the left side; Deepcool promises “seamless construction.” In terms of format, the case remains completely identical to the proven one: presentable components are located in the left compartment of the CG530 4F, with the power supply and hard drives behind them. Additionally, motherboards with rear connectors are supported.
Cooling and ventilation
Thanks to the closed glass sides, air is exchanged via the right side panel, bottom and lid. Deepcool includes four ARGB fans with PWM connection and illuminated frame; additional 120mm fans can be retrofitted. There’s also room for 140mm fans in the CG530 4F, but in significantly fewer numbers.
Radiators can be used up to a size of 360 and 280 mm. There are dust filters at the top and bottom of the tower. The air coolers can be installed up to a height of 160 millimeters, making most current tower models compatible.

The hard drives are placed behind the motherboard in a carrier for two 2.5″ drives or one 3.5″ drive. An additional data storage device of both formats installs directly on the floor behind the front panel, and a 3.5″ drive can also be attached behind the motherboard. In all cases, however, the drive must be screwed directly onto the case.
Price among others
The CG530 4F can currently be purchased in stores from 70 euros in black or from 65 euros in white, although Deepcool obviously does not make savings: the glass surfaces are not reduced in size by the frames either. , nor the lightweight I/O panel. Two USB 3.0 and one USB with C connector and Gen 2 speed are by no means the norm in this price range.
On paper, you currently have to invest between 10 and 15 euros more for a comparable configuration – without taking into account factors such as manufacturing quality and material thickness, which cannot be estimated using data sheets techniques.
