The Signal Messenger, to which many users have deliberately switched to data protection and privacy, introduces a new function: the safe synchronization of the previous news course when pairing a new device, which is also an accompanying device such as an iPad can.

Encrypted archive for transport
According to its own statements, the signal not only took data protection into account when implementing the new functionality, but also paid attention to the highest possible speed of transmission. In order to transfer the data, Signal initiates the creation of an encrypted and compressed archive of all information from the account, which the user’s instructions are then transferred to the new device via the server from Signal end to end. -Encrypted end. The functionality is gradually deployed
The latest version of the signal is required to use the feature for secure synchronization. The feature is currently still in testing and will be rolled out to all Signals users in the coming weeks.
