At the market launch of the GeForce RTX 5090 (test) and RTX 5080 on January 30, Nvidia followed the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti three weeks later – at least Videocardz would have experienced this from NVIDIA. As with larger GPUs, the testing embargo will only drop for certain models the day before.
Two-part testing embargo
As known from previous launches, Nvidia is splitting the testing embargo over two days. On February 19, the tests of graphics cards at the UVP of 879 euros specified by Nvidia should appear. There is no RTX 5070 Ti in Nvidia’s own FE design, which would also be available theoretically for this price. Only cards from board partners will be represented on the deadline.
The next day, February 20, and therefore parallel to the market launch, according to Videocardz, the embargo for partner cards whose RRP is higher than NVIDIA’s requirement. This date also coincides with Proshop’s recently mentioned market launch for the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. It can be assumed that the majority of custom models will be higher than the RRP.
So, on February 20, three of the four already presented RTX-50 generation graphics cards will at least officially reach possible market availability. Only the smallest model announced, the GeForce RTX 5070, does not yet have a well-known launch date.
Below the technical data of the four graphics cards at a glance.
