At around 20 liters of volume, the TR100 is one of the largest ITX cases, but still small enough to fit the thermaltake optionally sold in a roller case. The components are housed in the TR100 in the sandwich layout.
Sandwich layout explained
The power and main power supply, graphics cards, which can be 360 millimeters long, run behind a riser cable behind. It can therefore suck air on the side part. The downside of this configuration: CPU coolers only have 70 millimeters available in height, which was limited to the mid-performance class blast models or the AIO water cooler.
CPU coolers, like the SFX power supply, are also supplied directly to the side part with an Air-A restriction which, for example, does not make the Jonsbo Jonsplus Z20, which is equally large. Since the components support case ventilation in this way, dust filters can be found not only on the top, but also on the sides of the case.
