Forza Horizon is by far the Funracer of the open world. Sony itself does not have a comparable racing game in the program of its own studios. Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown keeps up with the competition, and Ubisoft’s The Crew: Motorfest isn’t a bad game, but doesn’t play in the same league.

Porters as a strategy

Forza Horizon 5 is not the first game that also changes to the competition. Sea of Thieves, anchored, Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment can already be played on the Playstation, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (test) should follow. Also DoM: Dark Ages and the Outer Worlds 2 will make it to Sony’s console.

Ports of Halo: The Masterchief Collection and Flight Simulator are also rumored to be planned, Eurogamer reports. Unlike Sony, there is still no finally clear strategy from this – Starfield is still only available on the PC and Xbox. The path, on the other hand, can already be seen: Microsoft is also more oriented towards the largest possible sales figures.
