MSI has announced the non-binding retail price recommendations of custom designs for the current start of sales of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080. The price range of the two new generations of graphics cards varies from 1,169 to 2,929 euros.

The Top model, the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G liquid SoC with liquid cooling, officially costs 2,929 euros, more than 600 euros more than the Geforce RTX 5090 Fe from NVIDIA (test). The MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G Ventus 3x OC, on the other hand, is officially priced at Nvidia’s Founders’ Edition for 2,329 euros.
For the first real OC model, the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G Gaming OC Trio, an additional charge of almost 500 euros is due, which is why it can at least be assumed that the non-OC version will hardly be available in the stores. In addition, the relays are then relatively low, in just 100 euros there are four cards.

With the RTX 5080 it looks like a whole bumper in variants at first glance, some cards are shown twice, for example as a white version. The entry price is at Nvidias RRP of 1,169 euros, up to 1,539 euros. In second place is the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G Suprim Soc.
The MSI Geforce RTX 5080 16G Shadow 3x and the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G Shadow 3x OC are not listed in the German announcement. The comparison on the home page reveals that they almost match a slightly tuned Ventus with exactly the same clock rates. These graphics cards must be intended for other markets.
