Even though GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 TI have not yet been officially announced, their release is already evident on the horizon. According to new leaks, the smaller Blackwell branch will be released in March and placed on the 8-pin PCIe connector. When removing memory, the maps are based on the predecessor generation.
The RTX 5060 and 5060 TI only need the 12V – 2×6 plug
Videocardz, where the rumors were given in circulation, refers to the Chinese medium “Brother Pan Talks Computer” on Douyin (Tikok in China, editor’s note). The latter has close contact with Nvidia‘s board partner Zotac.
According to the information, the RTX-5060 series should not be equipped with the 12V-2 × 6 plug on the Blackwell base, but on the classic 8-pin PCIe socket for power supply. In the previous generation, there were already graphics cards up to the GeForce RTX 4070 (but not their super refresh), which were allowed to deviate from the requirement to use the new connector. According to the leak, the power supply recommendation for new graphics cards calls for using a power supply with at least 650W

The GeForce RTX 5060 and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti are expected to hit the market in March and would only risk a few weeks for the RTX 5070 (TI) on February 20.

If this information is true, an official announcement from Nvidia would be expected in the near future. Given that AMD will also release New Radeon Generation in March (possibly March 6), there are more exciting weeks ahead.
Possible graphics card prices can also be found in the charts published on Douyin. The GeForce RTX 5060 is expected to cost between 2,599 RMB (Renminbi Yuan) and 3,399 RMB, which with the current exchange rate is around 340 euros to 450 euros – VAT does not take into account. For a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, however, RMB 3,299 up to RMB 3,599 would be due, which would correspond to a local price of 435 euros to 475 euros. However, it is worth noting that the mentioned price range is huge, especially with the RTX 5060.
RTX 5060 TI with 8GB or 16GB VRAM
Further information concerns the memory expansion of the smaller RTX 50 graphics cards. Although it was already speculated that NVIDIA could equip the expected smallest graphics card, the RTX 5060, with 8 GB or 12 GB of VRAM, current leaks only speak of an 8 GB model. However, the use of 3 GB of storage modules can still be designed with a variant with 12 GB in the future.
For the RTX 5060 Ti, on the other hand, there will seem to be a choice between models with 8 GB and 16 GB of VRAM from the start. As X-User @Olrak29_ discovered, board partner Maxsun recorded models at both stages of ECC (Eurasian Economic Commission) expansion. This would like the storage expansion of the entire new 60s series to that of the direct generation of predecessors.
