Kingdom Come: Deliverance II: The technology of the PC version

Visually, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II can be attested to a decent certificate. The game is even really pretty at times, especially the mood lighting when the sun rises and falls, the game captures great and many environments also give a lot. However, there are still scenes in which the lighting is flat and the character animations are generally more than average.
The title cannot handle Raytracing, whereby the game’s rays have visible benefits. Reflections on the screen space of the many lakes not only show the usual artifacts, but also let it “wipe” if the object to be reflected cannot be seen on the screen. And with the large open world as well as the change of day and night, global lighting using ray tracing would also be a greater optical advantage.
Upsampling (NVIDIA DLSS / AMD FSR) in DER Analyze
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II supports NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR in super-resolution. DLSS is version 3.7.10, probably FSR 3.1 – The latter is not entirely clear, but as a DLL file for FSR can be found in the index, this suggests the current version. Frame generation is not available on any platform.

In turn, DLSS has to struggle with the problem that the developers – and stronger than, for example, in FSR – Reel, so that the image looks incredibly sharp, but also tends to flicker surprisingly often. Here, however, the remedies of the Spicot controller. It needs to be rotated all the way when using DLSS, then the sharpness of the image is comparable to that of FSR.
So optimized, DLSS can also expand its strengths and offers the best image quality in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II: DLSS quality looks better than FSR quality and also than native resolution, although it renders more pixels. Because DLSS manages to maintain all the graphical details of the game and provides better image stability than FSR.

Loading times
Some games load incredibly quickly, others take forever. Equipped with a stopwatch, the editorial team measures loading times in the main menu, then from there to the test sequence.
