ZOTAC GEFORCE RTX 5090 Solid in Test: Custom Design for Founders Edition RRP * 97 Reviews
Along with the solid Zotac GeForce RTX 5090, the second RTX 5090 custom design of the RTX design is on the test bench. In theory (!), this model is available for an entry-level UVP of 2,329 euros. That would be good, because the graphics card turns out to be an FE alternative in the test.

ZOTAC GEFORCE RTX 5090 Solid Message Test
With the solid Zotac GeForce RTX 5090 (alternatively in “OC” with +15 MHz), Techoutil tests the first custom design of the GeForce RTX 5090, whose RRP 2,329 Euros and therefore at the level of the NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5090 Founders Edition (at the level of the NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5090 Founders Edition (test) is located. * At least in theory, because this model is currently not available, and even less so at this price. It’s a shame, because the solid one turns out to be a good alternative.
The Zotac GeForce RTX 5090 Solid Post Test
Zotac solid gegen zotac amp extreme infinite
Before answering the question of the quality of the Zotac solid, it is important to clarify the extent to which the Zotac solid is different from Zotac’s other custom design, the Zotac GeForce RTX 5090 AMP Extreme Infinity. Techconseil had already tested the most expensive “premium design” with the infinite ZOTAC GEFORCE RTX 5080.
So what distinguishes solid liability from extreme liability? Less than it seems at first glance:
The cooler structure and its fan are identical, for example, only the coating is different. Only the Extreme Infinity amp offers the “infinity-RGB Effect” and a decorative RGB LED strip on the side, while in the solid only the Zotac-Gaming logo. From 2467 MHz to 600 watts TDP (+60 MHz, +25 watts), the solid, on the other hand, with the 2407 or 2422 MHz (OC model) defined by NVIDIA at 575 watt TDP (each adaptable to 600 watts).
A BIOS Switch or BIOS button, which only adapts the fan curve, but not the TDP, both offer both. The same goes for the 3 + 2 year warranty (+2 years after registration).

Compared to the Asus Rog Astral, the sturdy Zotac is somewhat shorter, narrower and not as tall and relies on a classic single-sided three-fan design. At 2.3 kilograms, it is also 0.6 kilograms lighter.

The rear fan can also blow most of it through the Zotac Solid cooler, as the backplate has largely been cut out at this point.
Two bios configurations to choose from
The custom design has a BIOS button with which buyers can choose between a “boost” and a “silent” BIOS. BIOS amplification is enabled at the factory. The two variants only differ in the GPU target temperature and thus the fan control or fan speed. The standard 575 watt TDP can be manually raised to 600 watts.

In the case of connections it leaves ZOTAC on the standard defined by NVIDIA, so use DisplayPort 2.1 and once HDMI 2.1 three times.

Via the Zotac Firestorm tool you can also switch between the two profiles without pressing the BIOS button (also restart) and the fan curves can be adjusted and saved in three different profiles.
