GEFORCE 572.42 WQHL: Game ready for AVOYED and DLSS 4 MFG for Indiana Jones 14 comments
The GeForce Driver 572.42 WHQL brings official game-ready support to the public. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has so far missed the DLSS Ray rebuild, this is submitted by Patch as well as DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation for the adventure game. Waves can also shine brighter.
Game ready two games and twice as much frame generation
On February 18, 2025, the self-confessed first-person role-playing game from Obsidian Entertainment will be released. The GeForce driver in version 572.42 WHQL appears before the official release and exactly for everyone who pre-ordered the premium edition of the game and can test the game for everyone else five days before the release. Players can find DLSS frame generation, DLSS Super Resolution, NVIDIA Reflex, and Raytracing mirroring in the DLSS frame generation graphics menu. Only through the NVIDIA app, DLSS 4 replacements should guarantee better image quality in confessed.
Game ready for Civ 7
The driver was also optimized for Civilization VII, the strategy game was already on the market on February 11, 2025. However, the title is exposed to harsh criticism from players.
Indiana Jones, not
With Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, an already supported game gets an update. The adventure can also use multi-frame generation and the new transformer model for DLSS Super Resolution with a next week. The game with this patch also receives the first patch (Indiana Jones and the Great Circle in the test: full ray tracing in the image analysis and in the benchmark) was still missing the DLSS Ray reconstructions.
Rays proliferate in wuthering waves
With the Open World Game Wuthering Waves, released at the end of May 2024, a second match receives an in-depth update. Raytracing mirrors, DLSS frame generation and Nvidia reflex are subject.
Nvidia app with new optimal settings
Finding the optimal graphics settings sometimes saves NVIDIA app players from this version of the driver in four other titles. Including the currently very popular medieval role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (in the benchmark test).

List of errors removed and even open
According to the official Changelog, a total of five bug fixes made this release with version number 572.42. Two of them have already been adjusted in the Hotfix inserted driver 572.24, they concerned Valorant and Final Fantasy XVI.
On the other hand, a bugfix for Delta Force is completely new, which caused issues with performance when the resident bar is enabled. DLSS 4 had to suffer from compatibility issues and with Blackwell GPUs the expected results should now also be obtained in the DXR 3DMark functionality test. For the latter, the driver must be updated via a fresh installation.
In the open, but already known issues, a total of seven errors are listed in the Changelog and in the forum post which can only be fixed with one of the following driver versions. The errors concern the lack of status change of the GPU activity icon in the taskbar, unusually poor performance under VRAY 6, texture errors with raytracing and adobe substance 3D Painter as well as problems with image stuttering of GeForce RTX-5000-Series Graphics cards related to SteamVr.
Another error can lead to blues screen fault when playing with HDR and too damaged image causes the link with pixelated 2D models. Another bug can allow the driver to crash if the connected monitor has been in sleep mode for too long and is then woken up.
