RADEON RX 9070 XT: AMD delivers the appointment, a screenshot Key data and Benchmark 154 comments

AMD has now revealed when the event will take place to showcase the next generation Radeon RX 9000 Alias RDNA 4. February 28 is the time. A screenshot in turn provides unofficial confirmation of the RX 9070 XT’s specifications and also a result in the Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark.
AMD presents Radeon RX 9070 (XT) at the end of February
As already planned, AMD will present the Radeon RX 9000 at the end of February. David McAfee revealed the exact date on X: February 28, a presentation begins at 2 p.m., which everyone can follow live on the AMD gaming YouTube channel.
The market launch will take place a little later. AMD is speaking publicly starting in early March. The rumors were already more specific on March 6. It must not be a strange coincidence that the Geforce RTX 5070 is now also expected to be released in early March.
GPU-Z screenshot confirms key data

According to the various previous information, the boost cycle should be 2970 MHz. The 3100 MHz displayed in the screenshot therefore speaks for overclocking. The same goes for the game clock, which is actually expected at 2,400 MHz.

HKEPC later released a larger section of the screenshot, on which a result in the Monster Hunter Wilds game benchmark program can be seen. The 211.71 fps in full HD obtained are inaccessible even for an Nvidia Geforce RTX 5090, like the results of the community reference show.

VideoCardz requested HKEPC and was confirmed that the result was achieved with FSR and FSR frame generation. Both scaling techniques significantly increase FPS. However, there is no good indication of the performance classification of the RX 9070 XT.

Rumor Price
It has always been rumored that the RX 9070 XT could be $499 to $599. Many listings in online stores with $1,000 and up seemed way too high. Younger boards place expectations somewhere in between. A Canadian dealer called at least $586 for an RX 9070 and $697 for an RX 9070 XT.
Ultimately, as usual, prices will follow direct competition. Here, an exchange of blows of the RX 9070 (XT) with the GeForce RTX 5070 (TI) is expected. The latter had announced Nvidia for $549 and $749.
