Android security patches: Samsung provides Galaxy S21, S24 FE and A73 6 reviews
Samsung has started distributing February security updates for the Galaxy S21, S24 Fe and A73 models. As for the Android 15 and One UI 7.0 update, however, users of these smartphones should continue to be patient.
The updates for the Galaxy A73 and the flagship models Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 therefore only contain the security patch provided by Google at the beginning of the month. In addition to the usual error filings and performance improvements, no further innovations can therefore be expected.
The staggered release of Android 15, including a UI 7.0 for older Samsung smartphones, is expected to take place over the next two to three months, including the mentioned models. A beta version of the S24 FE has already been released.
Users should automatically receive the update in the coming days. Alternatively, it can also be obtained from Samobile and installed manually using Odin.
