OLED Monitors with 5K resolution: prices, data and appointments for LG 45GX950A and 45GX990A 13 comments

LG launches first OLED monitors with higher resolution than 4K UHD. With 5120 × 2160 pixels, 45GX950A and 45GX990A have over 11 million pixels. Now, LG has revealed when and at what prices they will appear.
For the first time, LG announced the new 45GX950A, 45GX990A and the smaller 39GX90SA OLED monitors shortly before CES in late December. Further information then followed the electronics fair in January and February, the report that the corresponding OLED panels will begin mass production.

Now there are also prices (RRP) and an appointment for the market launch in Germany. All three models should be available from April 2025. The “small” 39GX90SA with UWQHD and 240 Hz costs 1,599 euros. For 5,120 × 2,160 pixels and 165 Hz, 1,999 euros are already due in the 45GX990A. With the sister model 45GX950A, an additional 500 euros to 2,499 euros must be covered for the flexible display.
