Sharkons 75% Keyboard SGK25 competes as a price biscuit. With mechanical buttons, lighting and rotary controls, it doesn’t cost 50 euros. You can’t expect miracles for this, but the paper form promises a balanced overall concept.
As a 75% keyboard, the Sharkoon SGK25 numeric keypad and some function buttons with the aim of achieving an ergonomic space. The most important rest on the edge: there’s the scroll and kill button, a plastic rotary knob above for volume control. What otherwise likes to approach 100 euros costs just under 50 – so the keyboard starts out as a price cookie, although compromises have to be made.
Button for price range
For the button, Sharkoon reaches for the cheapest drawer. Huano Red is reserved for Cherry MX copies and budget tips. They have a 4 millimeter center, fire at 2 millimeters and have an activity of 40 grams. However, the buttons are not fixed: they are in hot swap socks for MX type models with 3 or 5 pins.

2 programmable buttons
Rear lighting, media functions and programmable keys are also part of the equipment. Unlike the SGK25, for example, the SGK25 is not the basis for the absence of Open-Open firmware.
Buyers also have to do without the Via-Webapp, programming of keys and lighting is only possible via shortcuts on the keyboard itself. However, only two keys can be reduced with macros, namely “ä” and “Ö”. The LEDs can be adjusted in three profiles.
The dual functions for media control, macro creation, brightness control and the like are therefore already programmed, but not documented on the key caps and must be looked for in the instructions. There is also an indication of a Mac operating mode. The buttons are made of ABS plastic, but are labeled in the double-shot process, which is abrasion proof.
The SGK25 in black and white is already listed for around 50 euros in stores. The keyboard should be available in the coming week.
