Giants Software is improving its Farming Simulator 25 with patch 1.8 and bringing more realism with the Precision Farming mod. Additional farming and forestry machines are added via a patch and also in the modification. The Precision Farming mod remains optional for all players.

More Realism with Precision Farming

As announced by Giants Software at the end of April, the Precision Farming MOD has been released on ModHub Today. With this mod, which can be downloaded for free by all players from the modhub and optionally activated when loading the score, the focus is more on efficiency and realism, so it plays a role how often a location is fertilized, what crop rotation is observed, or whether a fertilizer-saving method is used, as in the upgrade. Additionally, passengers enter Farming Simulator 25. Through these alleys, farmers travel the field again and again after sowing to spray, chop, or fertilize. In addition to these adjustments, other machinery is also enhanced by the mod: field syringes, a tag, or hanging devices for taking soil samples.

Patch 1.8 brings small improvements

The nearly 2 GB update was released alongside Precision Farming. Patch 1.8 also brings various improvements to improve performance. Garlic in greenhouses should no longer be a hindrance, and stability should now be higher than before. Electrically powered machines are now also charged at slow current speeds, and some models and translations have been fixed. Other improvements affect AI, shadow effects, manure pile detection, and millet fill screens. Mod updates from the ModHub no longer require starting a game. The full changelog is available on the Giants Software website.

New Heavy Equipment

This patch also includes some new land and forestry machinery for all hobby farmers. This includes new tractors from Fiat and Case, as well as a New Holland combine harvester, as well as appropriate cutting plants and a corn crop.
