ASUS and MSI have announced the RRP of their custom designs for the start of the NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5070 (test). The price called by Nvidia for the FE is 649 euros, but it will not be available today. In addition to starting models at this price, others cost up to 210 euros. Theoretically.
GeForce RTX 5070 from Asus in three variants
The ASUS portfolio is very manageable at the GeForce RTX 5070 in this country at the beginning, and there will only be two designs with Prime and TUF games. The first is available in two variants, once with and once without OC. The Prime (OC) is a simple design in the triple fan arrangement, the non-overclocked model represents the start and is the only one listed for the 649 euro NVIDIAS FE.
In any case, it can be assumed that this non-OC model of the Prime will only be available in very small numbers in order to offer NVIDIA to offer cards at the official RRP of the FE, at least on paper. The ASUS Prime RTX 5070 OC nominally costs only 10 euros more than the unblocked model, but the actual market prices will probably be considerably higher. This pattern was last seen in all RTX-50 market departures.
ASUS is the only premium model to start the GAMING TUF GEFORCE RTX 5070 OC in this country. A non-OC version should only follow later. The TUF Gaming comes with a massive cooler and higher quality materials. This card starts with an RRP of 859 euros, which is a 210 euro surcharge compared to Nvidias Fe. The ASUS ROG Strix RTX 5070 (OC), which is also announced, is currently not listed on the German side of ASUS, and prices for this model were not communicated to the editorial team. MSI starts with 7 models
At MSI there will be a total of seven models for the market launch. The MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G Ventus 2x OC, which has two fans, takes the start here. This card should be available in two color variants (black silver and white) at the FE-UVP of 649 euros. Here, too, only a very small number can be expected. For the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G Ventus 3x OC model with a third fan and correspondingly larger heat sink, a price of 769 euros is already called, which corresponds to an additional charge of 120 euros. A white variant of the Ventus 3X has not been announced.
The next model is the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G Inspire 3X, which also has three fans and comes in a simple, sand-colored look. The RRP is 789 euros and thus 140 euros above the entry-level models. The MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G COS Gaming Trio costs an additional 10 euros more than the Inspiration with 799 euros RRP, if this model should be in white, the price increases again to 819 euros and thus 170 euros above the cheaper models. The absolute spearhead of the manufacturer, however, is the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G Vanguard OC Launch Edition, for which MSI calls an RRP of 839 euros. The 190 euros above the cheaper models, as with the launch of the other RTX 50 graphics cards, includes a figure of the company mascot Lucky. MSI’s most expensive card remains – according to the RRP – 20 euros below the Asus Tuf game. Availability for market launch
