Yesterday, Synology reported a system outage that lasted into the night. This reportedly affected the entire C2 platform, which has been unable to access cloud services since Wednesday afternoon. According to the provider’s status page, everything should be working normally again.
The outage reportedly extended to all of the NAS specialist’s cloud services, including password management, cloud security via C2 backup, C2 online data storage, and C2 transfer for data exchange. Regarding its status, Synology classified the issue as a “severe failure,” which also underscores the extent of the disruption.
Systems are back to normal.
According to the status page, however, all services have been regularly available again since this morning. However, users should check the status reports on their NAS and, if necessary, manually reset fuses.
