Inverted blade? Why do you need it?
PC fans, regardless of diameter, are usually constructed according to a specific design. The basic frame is square or similar, and in the middle is a fan with an axial electric motor. This shaft is held in place by rods attached to the outside of the frame. The direction of airflow is usually from the open side to the side with these struts. As a result, the side with the strut faces inward in fans that are supposed to suck air into the case. However, this interior is visible on cases with glass windows, and the “nicer” side shows the dust filter or the case’s air vents. Inverted blade fans are structured differently here, so that the side between the struts is the intake side, and the fans can thus face inward with the exhaust side. Before purchasing, buyers should consider exactly how the fan should be installed in the case.
