Agricultural Simulator 25: Patch 1.7 Brings the Diesel-Electric John Deere 8r Eautopowr Tractor 23 comments
Five months after the release of Agricultural Simulator 25, the software giants with Patch 1.7 fixes numerous bugs, improves performance in single and multiplayer modes, expands comfort features, and introduces a Göweil cuboid bale wrapper and a diesel-electric John Deere 8r tractor.
New Content and Features
With the latest Patch 1.6, the developers of Agricultural Simulator 25 have also added additional content. Patch 1.7 clearly focused on bug fixes, but players don’t have to make any new machines. In addition to the already available Kuhn SW 4014, the Göweil G4010 Q Profy ‘Quad Bale Winder’ is now also available for all silage bale fans. As a new tractor, the John Deere 8R is available in the Eautopowr version, for example with the 370 or 410 engine. With the Eautopowr transmission, the tractor is converted into a diesel-electric unit. Instead of hydraulics, two brushless electric motors are used for the gearbox. These are powered by a generator driven by the diesel engine. For attachments, there is a 480-volt AC outlet with an output of up to 100 kW. This way, trailers with an electrically powered axle could be pulled.
In addition to the two new devices, a handful of smaller tweaks have also been made. PC players can now set dead zones for their input devices even while the score is running, and an exclamation mark will appear in the main menu if an update is available for an installed mod. Their download dialog now includes information about the file size. At the end of the field, when the GPS guidance lines pass in front, cruise control can now be automatically disabled by option.
No more snow in summer
Patch 1.7 fixes around 40 bugs. In addition to general information on improved performance and stability in single and multiplayer modes, some annoying issues are no longer up to date. Snow now disappears as soon as snowfall is disabled in the options; until now, it could have lied unluckily in summer. If multiple orders are processed in parallel and they have the same delivery target for the same goods, the order with the highest progress is now always considered. Grass harvesting will no longer bring the highest yield, even if the grass was cut too early.
Maybe annoying for some players, but from now on repairs in workshops have to be paid again. Console players can expect harvest animations complemented by the corn harvest. The effect of throwing bullets with the Kuhn SW 4014 has also been addressed, wrapped bullets are no longer thrown hundreds of meters. When harvesting cotton fields, unfinished bales can now be unloaded correctly so that corresponding harvest orders can be successfully completed. For NVIDIA DLS, the .dll file has been updated to a newer version (310.1).
Patch 1.7 was deployed on April 10, 2025 for all platforms, it is around 2 GB on PC. The full Changelog can be found on the manufacturer‘s website.
