SSD/HDD Benchmark: CrystalDiskMark 8.0.6 Gets Updated Core Library 6 comments

The free SSD benchmark CrystalDiskMark for Windows receives a revised substructure in the new version 8.0.6 (“Project Priscilla”) and now also supports dark mode at the menu level. Additionally, the benchmark features new themes for the Aoi and Shizuku editions.
Modern Underframe and Improved Dark Mode
The revised core library is based on the Priscilla project, which is maintained by developer “hiyohiyo” and hosted on the GitHub development platform. CrystalDiskMark 8.0.6 now automatically adapts to dark mode at the menu level and also offers various new themes to choose from for the Aoi and Shizuku editions.

Slim benchmark tool for SSD and HDD
CrystalDiskMark (CDM) is a free benchmark tool for MIT-licensed hard drives and SSDs. In addition to sequential transfer rates, the software also tests for different types of random access. Read and write rates as well as input-output operations (IOP) can be determined. Further information can be found on the official website.
