The Aerocool D501A V2 is a spacious case for the ATX format that visually plays with a wooden stick: it sits at the front as a boundary. Aerocool creates an alternative to the usual decorative stripes on the front side of cases and retains a certain aesthetic symmetry in the design despite the rounded edges.

A wooden stick and lots of mesh

The wooden stick is securely integrated into the front of the Aerocool D501A V2 and closes the right side of the tower. On the design side, the manufacturer has also opted for and put mesh at the front. Combined with the large space, the case poses no limits to the cooling and size of CPU coolers and , at least in current models. This does not promise to change with the next RTX 5090, 5080 and 5070 (Ti).

Four ARGB fans with hub

For cooling, Aerocool installs four 120mm ARGB fans, distributed at the front and rear. Additional fans can be retrofitted under the cover, on the PSU cover and on the right side panel. Dust filters are placed at all openings. systems can use a 360mm radiator on the top or front and a maximum of a 280mm radiator on the side.

The D501A V2 can control up to five ARGB fans with an integrated hub that receives PWM and light signals separately via the motherboard.

The power supply and hard drive cage are located at the bottom of the D501A V2 under a cover. A cage with a slot is provided for , on top of which a second drive can be screwed. To do this, however, you must remove the cage – the second hard drive is an emergency solution. Two additional 2.5″ hard drives accommodate brackets behind the motherboard. As with the location in the HDD cage, installation is possible without tools.

In Germany only in luxury version

The D501A V2 can already be ordered in stores in black for around 67 euros and in white for around 74 euros, and availability should be available in the coming days. The “economy version” of the tower, the D501A V1, which comes with just one fan turned off and no fan hub, is reserved for other markets.
