AMD Adrenaline 25.3.2: New Radeon Driver for Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Tlou Part II 16 Comments
Just two weeks after Adrenaline 25.3.1, AMD has released a Radeon driver update. Driver version 25.3.2 is called an “optional update” and brings optimizations for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, New Games, and the latest, US, Part 2 Remastered.
Due to the short release of Adrenaline 25.3.1, the list of “highlights” is much shorter. Therefore, the two games mentioned are the only new features, in addition to bug fixes and updates to developer tools. Unfortunately, the new driver package arrived a little too late for the Assassin’s Creed Shadows tech test on TechAstuce. Optimizations for The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered are on time again, as the PC version won’t be released until April 3, 2025.

Gamma correction issues in First Person Shooter 2 when using MSAA X8 on new RX-9070 (XT) graphics cards should now be fixed. For crashes in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, when details are set to “very ultra” and path tracing is enabled, the only workaround is to reset the ray tracing settings to standard.
Furthermore, the racing game Assetto Corsa Competizione should now perform better on Radeon RX 9000. The full list of resolved errors is as follows:
Incorrect gamma is experienced when playing Counter-Strike 2 and using MSAA X8 on RADEON™ RX 9070 series graphics products. An intermittent application crash may be observed in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle when the settings are set to “Very Ultra” quality and path tracing is enabled. List of well-known, but even open, errors
The list of other existing errors, which includes nine entries, is still quite extensive. This includes issues with SteamVR on the Radeon RX 9000 due to a memory leak. Adrenaline software crashes in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 or Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are also included when the AMD Image Inspector is enabled, which is therefore temporarily fixed.
There are also new issues with recently introduced features: for example, the progress bar in the new installation manager permanently remains at 0% during the installation of chipset drivers. Something similar could occur during the installation of AMD Chat.
A system crash may be observed due to a memory leak when using SteamVR on certain AMD Radeon™ graphics products, such as the Radeon™ RX 9000 series. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to disable motion smoothing in SteamVR settings. Inspector enabled. Better than expected performance may be observed when using YouTube on the Microsoft Edge web browser immediately after installing a driver.
