AMD Advancing AI 2025: Key Date for the Unveiling of the New Instinct GPU “MI355X” 4 comments

As in previous years, AMD will hold the event Advancing AI to showcase new products for high-performance computing and artificial intelligence. The highlight of Advancing AI 2025 is the unveiling of the new Instinct GPUs, which is expected to be presented by AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su.
New product ideas were also on the agenda at previous events of this type. At the first such event (Advancing AI 2023), the Instinct MI300 GPU accelerator family was officially unveiled. At Advancing AI 2024, the focus was on several segments with the MI325X, the Epyc 9005 Turin server CPU family, and Turin Dense. Instead of holding its AI event in the fall or winter, as it used to, AMD is holding its AI event much earlier this year: On June 12, 2025, Lisa Su will take the stage and can be seen live on AMD’s YouTube channel. The event begins at 6:30 PM (CEST).
The industry event will showcase the company’s bold vision for AI, announce the next generation of AMD Instinct™ GPUs, AMD ROCM™ Open Software Ecosystem Progress, and reveal details on AI solutions for hyperscalers, enterprises, developers, startups, and more.

In addition to new Instinct GPUs, which have announced at least the MI355X for the second half of 2025, AMD also plans to report on progress with the AMD ROCM Open Software Platform and reveal details on AI solutions not yet mentioned.
