AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT: All Custom Designs at a Glance 66 comments
As the latest graphics card of this generation, the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT was presented at Computex 2025. Like the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, it is available with either 8 GB or 16 GB of VRAM. There is no reference design yet. The computer database shows all custom designs at a glance.

This article lists all Radeon RX 9060 XTs available in Germany and previously known, and elaborates on the significant differences to create a useful point of contact for interested parties. To keep the article clear, the editorial team is limiting itself to a selection of product images—more images are available on the linked manufacturer‘s websites. At the end of each paragraph, the most important key data for the models is summarized in tabular form to provide a quick overview. A column for the graphics card height has been added at this point.

Some manufacturers offer their graphics cards in both a regular and OC version. Here, too, the editorial team summarizes: if a custom design is also listed as an OC model in addition to a regular SKU, this is briefly mentioned with an (OC) in parentheses, but not counted as a separate model. The cooler used is crucial.
Acer
Acer is only fielding one model in the race, which will be available in both VRAM expansion stages. The Nitro OC is a simple dual-fan graphics card, whose backplate features generous recesses in the WABEDeSign for the second fan. A single 8-pin PCIe connector is used for power. The graphics card does not offer RGB lighting or a second BIOS.

Asrock
Asrock offers the RX 9060 XT in two custom designs: the Challenger and the Steel Legend. Both will come with 1 GB and 16 GB of video memory. Both cards feature 2 slots. A dual BIOS is not available in the Challenger or the Steel Legend. While the Challenger primarily features a black dual-fan design, the white Steel Legend still features a third fan, which is also illuminated by RGB LEDs. Here, too, power is supplied via an 8-pin PCIe socket. A dark variant of the Steel Legend can be expected later; a corresponding model has been submitted for the RX 9070 XT. ASUS has announced models in the Dual, Prime, and TUF series. All of the manufacturer’s graphics cards feature a dual BIOS and reach a height of 2.5 slots. Power is supplied to all three series via a single 8-pin PCIe connector.
The smaller model, the Dual, will only be available as an 8GB variant. As its name suggests, it has two fans with a length of 202mm. Customers, on the other hand, have the choice of Prime, with both VRAM expansion stages available. A third fan is added opposite the Dual, keeping the design simple. The first also occupies 2.5 slots in the slot.
As with all ASUS Radeon graphics cards, the spearhead is the TUF Gaming OC. It features a higher-quality cooler with a triple-fan design, and it’s also the only card in the manufacturer’s portfolio with RGB elements. Gigabyte
Gigabyte currently lists only one model that will be available with 8 GB and 16 GB of VRAM. The Gigabyte Gaming (OC) RX 9060 XT features a triple-fan design with generous clearance on the backplate for the third fan. The card’s height remains within the limits of two slots. Addressable RGB lighting is located on the side of the graphics card, through which a plate with the manufacturer’s logo can be pushed. With the graphics card, the currently developed “thermal gel” is used as a thermal conductor for the storage and voltage converter.
Gaming OCs generally represent the manufacturer’s mid-range, so it’s surprising that at least no other models are listed. Later, even smaller custom models from the Windforce or Eagle series are presented, which are then presumably equipped with two fans.

PowerColor
PowerColor is showing two models of the RX 9060 XT, the Reaper and the Hellhound for compute. A Red Devil is also expected to appear, but was not yet represented at the show. Information on the higher-end model from the manufacturer will be submitted at this stage as soon as it becomes available.
The Reaper is PowerColor’s entry-level model; it features an extremely compact dual-fan design that also maintains its height and avoids breaking the 2-slot limit.
The Hellhound will be available with both 8 GB and 16 GB of video memory. The card has a 310 mm long triple-fan design with a 2-slot height. It also offers a dual BIOS. In addition to the standard black variant, PowerColor also offers a “Spectral White” model for the Hellhound RX 9060 XT, in which the Hellhound, backplate, fan, and even the PCB and heatsink itself are completely white. Sapphire
AMD’s exclusive partner Sapphire will be putting the RX 9060 XT in the three known series: Pulse, Pure, and Nitro+. The Pulse is the introduction, which will be the only model besides a 16 GB configuration with 8 GB of VRAM. The Pulse comes in the familiar black design with red accents and, like the RX 9070, has two fans. With 2.3 slots, it dominated many competitors in terms of build height.
Sapphire’s top model represents the high-quality Nitro+. As the only Sapphire model, it has a third fan, and the cooler is very large for an RX 9060 XT, reaching a height of 2.7 slots. The design, overall, corresponds to that of the larger Radeon RX 9070 (XT), albeit a bit smaller. However, there is one decisive difference: unlike the NAVI 44 graphics cards, the NITRO+ RX 9060 XT does not use the 12V 2×6 connector for power, but has a socket for an 8-pin connector. Unlike its larger siblings, this is no longer hidden under a removable backplate, but rather located on the side of the graphics card.

Xfx
XFX has not yet officially unveiled any graphics cards. The editorial team expects models from the Speedster SWFT series, which are already known in configurations with two or three fans from a dealer leak. However, the triple-fan card could also reach the market as the Speedster Quick, as the series was launched accordingly in the previous generation by exclusive partner AMD. As soon as specific information about XFX graphics cards becomes available, it will be submitted at this stage. Which is your favorite? Or which would it be if the Radeon RX 9060 XT could be considered. Whether or why it doesn’t can be discussed in the comments.
