Android 15 at Samsung: Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, S23 FE, and S22 Receive One UI 7 18 comments
Samsung is rolling out Android 15 and One UI 7 to other models. After the current smartphones and their predecessors were updated in recent weeks, older devices have also received the update. Among other things, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, S23 FE, and the Galaxy S22 series have received the update.
After a short break, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 (review) and a week ago, the two predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 (review), received the official update to Android 15 and One UI 7, which is now also available in Europe. Now, the fourth generation of Samsung’s foldable smartphones is following suit with the latest update.
As with previous updates, the new version will initially be distributed in South Korea, with other countries expected to follow in the coming days. The update has a file size of over 4 GB for both models and includes the April 2025 Android security patch.
Galaxy S23 Fe and S22 series also cautious
Furthermore, according to a report from Sammobile, Samsung is also bringing the latest Android version to the Galaxy S23 Fe with firmware S711NKSU5DA, which increases the update to a size of approximately 5 GB. Distribution has also begun in South Korea. The Galaxy S22 (review), Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra (review) have also received the update.
Other devices will follow
With the latest release, Samsung is slightly ahead of schedule, as the models mentioned weren’t expected to be released until May. Other mobile devices are expected to follow in the coming weeks.
