APNX V2 and V2-F: Glass Chamber Case Shows the Edge with Triangle

The APNX V2 is a glass case that floats the main board. The company is also taking unusual design paths elsewhere. This means that the is building more than just a typical “aquarium” on the shelf.

Compared to the APNX V1, which cuts off the front, the V2 only has a sloping triangle area at the transition from the front and side glass elements. This means that the APNX takes a completely different approach from most other manufacturers, who are currently increasingly replacing edges with curves.

The concept is also unusual. Two fans fit at the rear, five more behind the main board. Here, a 360 mm radiator can be attached horizontally or vertically. Additional fans can be installed on the floor. However, they sit behind an opening and are therefore invisible. APNX announces that the V2 has a maximum capacity of 13 fans. An integrated Argb PWM hub can take over your control.

Space and illusion

Based on the fan width, the space for components can also be estimated: and most CPU coolers, especially 160 mm tall models, should fit in the V2.

Additionally, the V2 main boards feature rear connection brackets, for which various implementations can be opened on the main board tray. The hard drive cage and are interchangeable on the V2 and sit behind the main board in two shafts. This clearly shows: in principle, this is a classic dual-chamber enclosure; the flat, floating tray is mostly an optical gimmick thanks to clever design and disguises.

In addition to the V2, APNX also the V2-F. It differs from the model without the additional letters only in the cover: this is made of metal, not glass. The design and additional features otherwise remain the same.

2025 Available

The housing is expected to reach the housing starting September 5th. The retail price of the V2-F is 129 euros, while the V2 is expected to cost 139 euros (out of the box) in black. For the white version of both models, APNX requires an additional charge of 10 euros. APNX V2-F (left) and APNX V2 (center and right)
