Assetto Corsa Evo: 1. Content update brings Fuji Speedway and two new cars 14 comments

As announced in the Assetto Corsa Evo Early Access roadmap, the first content update will contain two new vehicles and a new race track. The update can be downloaded from next Wednesday February 19, 2025 via Steam.
Two additional vehicles
The 20-vehicle fleet is expanded by two additional cars with the first content update. Both cars come from Italian manufacturers: once the Lamborghini Huracán Sto and the integral Lancia Delta HF “Evoluzione 2”.
While the Lamborghini Huracán Sto runs quite conventionally through the race track, the developers of the showcase video let the tires smoke with the Lancia Delta and drift spectacularly around the curves. In the short video, not only the two cars and the new road, but also the 2-liter turbo engine of the Lancias and the backdrop of the Huracán with over 5,000 ccm can be admired acoustically. The Lamborghini Huracán Sto squeezes 640 hp and 565 nm from the unit. In the Lancia Delta HF Integrale “Evoluzione 2” it only has to set a torque of 210 hp and 308 nm, but despite the similar empty weight, this should not be a brake.
Fuji Speedway never existed
As Kunos Simulazioni points out in the announcement, there has never officially been Fuji Speedway in any of its games. With update 0.1.6, the five existing routes are expanded to include the approximately 60-year-old circuit of Japan. The approximately four and a half kilometer racecourse has 16 curves and offers a breathtaking view of Japan’s highest mountain of the same name (Fuji). The racecourse was for the Motorcycle World Cup and Formula 1 in the racing calendar. The round record of 1 minute and 18.4 seconds dates from this era, set by Felipe Massa in his Ferrari in 2008. The race track for WEC, Super GT, Super Formula and Japanese Formula 3 is currently used.
This content update is available free of charge to all owners of the early access version of Assetto Corsa Evo from February 19, 2025. Since Kunos Simulazioni announced the price of the game with additional content it can be found gradually, it can be assumed that the current purchase price of 40 euros is only retained upon release.
