The early access version of Assetto Corsa Evo has only been available for less than 3 days when resourceful modders have already decrypted the game files. This made it possible to find information about additional cars, routes, modes of game and penalties. The relevant information is not official and should therefore be treated with caution.

Notes on cars included

In their roadmap, developers Kunos Simulazioni have already estimated the scope of version 1.0, scheduled for fall 2025, at 15 routes and 100 cars. In the Assetto Corsa Evo game files, there is a compressed .kspkg file of approximately 40 gigabytes. Using a tool published on GitHub.com, various modders claim to have decompressed and viewed this file. The list of results was compiled, for example, on Reddit.com and in Docs.

Models, brand and parts

In total, modders found references to 71 cars and six car brands to which no exact model has yet been assigned. These cars will be divided into four categories: Evo, Heritage, Racing and Luxury. Accurate models could still be found for the five brands Caterham, Ginetta, Jaguar, KTM, Lexus and Reiter Engineering. Newly discovered cars include, for example, the Nissan Skyline R34, a BMW M8 Competition, the Ferrari F40 LM and the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS. The following full list was posted on Reddit and other sites. As mentioned at the beginning, this is not official information and therefore it is not certain whether the cars will actually enter the game.

Additional routes found

The early access version currently contains five routes. Fuji Speedway (first content release) and Circuit of the Americas (CoTA) have already been announced in the roadmap for the near future. References to the following routes can be found in the game files:

VallelungaWatkins GlenDonnington ParkAn unspecified oval circuitNürburgring (already known)Nordschleife (already known)Eifel (open world)

This means that 12 to 13 routes, depending on whether the Eifel is included or not, out of the 15 routes promised for release are already known. The findings so far say about the planned development.

Game modes and penalties

Some discoveries were also made in the game modes. The current version of the game already includes a quick racing weekend and training sessions. Full race weekends have been announced via a roadmap. There are now also the following modes, which refer to drift racing and racing stages:

SRO RaceInstant RaceSuperpoleDriftA to B

There will be a total of 30 missions in the Driver Academy. To ensure that all drivers maintain discipline there appear to be references to various penalties – for example grid penalties, fines, penalty laps and stop and go penalties as well as passing penalties. flying.

Early Access currently at a discounted price

Assetto Corsa Evo Early Access is available for purchase in the Steam Store for 39.99 euros since January 16, 2025. A 20% discount is valid until January 30.
