In addition to the fastest gaming monitor with 610 Hz, the ROG ACE XG248QSG, ASUS also unveiled a new 34-inch ultrawide gaming monitor with QD-OLED at Computex 2025, the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG. It not only features Google TV for movies and series built-in, but also GeForce Now, without a PC. Ultrawide with 21:9 panel and 240 Hz Fast QD-OLD
The ASUS ROG STRIX OLED XG34WCDMTG offers a resolution of 3,440 × 1,440 pixels on a 34-inch curved screen diagonal, so it can use the 21:9 aspect ratio with an ultrawide QHD. The QD-OLD panel also offers a dynamic refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. According to ASUS, the DCI-P3 color space is covered by 99%, so the monitor should also offer very good color representation when gaming.
Google TV with Dolby Vision and Wi-Fi 6
Because the gaming monitor not only relies on the PC as an educator, but also integrates Google TV (Android 14) with GeForce now pre-installed. This way, movies, series, and games can be streamed via Nvidia’s Cloud Gaming without the PC having to be turned on. In addition to Dolby Atmos, for which ASUS has also integrated speakers directly into the monitor, Dolby Vision is also supported. Chromecast and Miracast also offer wireless transmission technologies to the monitor. ASUS has integrated Wi-Fi 6 into the XG34WCDMTG for streaming and cloud gaming.
Price and Availability
ASUS has not yet announced a price or a retail availability announcement for the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG at Computex 2025.
ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG MIT 500 Hz
With the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG, ASUS is also showcasing the 27-inch monitor that was already unveiled at CES 2025. Its 2560 x 1440 pixel QD OLED panel offers a scaling frequency of 500 Hz. However, this monitor is not yet available in stores.
