Almost all manufacturers now offer a glass box-type “showcase” enclosure in their range. From autumn, be quiet! which includes Light Base 600 and Light Base 900. At first glance, both are based on the classic glass tower, but allow more alignment options.
When placed horizontally, both enclosures resemble the Lian-Li-O11 series. There are windows on the front and side, the straight, narrow part of the tower is closed and is used to contain the power supply, cables and hard drives. This segment is accentuated by a 1.5 meter long LED strip that surrounds the housing. The background: Both towers can also be placed and used in a horizontal orientation. In addition, as with other be-quiet! In this case, it will be possible to reverse the arrangement and place the window on the right.
Both cases are cooled via optional fans on the base, lid and rear. Additional fans can be mounted on the right side panel, as is typical for this class. An ARGB hub and a fan hub, each with 12 connections, are provided in the cases for control purposes. Thanks to the removable brackets, fans and radiators can be mounted outside the Light Base tower in the Light Base 900, with space for up to two 420 mm heat exchangers.
What differentiates Light Base 900 and 600
The Light Base 600 differs from the 900 model only in its smaller size. This is why a maximum of ATX motherboards and 360mm radiators can be installed. The versions also differ in the number of hard drives. The Light Base 600 can hold a maximum of three hard drives, the Light Base 900 up to six. However, it is not yet known how many hard drives can be installed ex works for the top model without purchasing additional parts.

Pricing and availability
The Light Base 900 should go on sale in September or October for around 170 euros in black and around 180 euros in white. The FX version with four of the new Light Wings fans in 140 mm version (1,300 rpm) and PWM control will cost 220 or 230 euros.
The smallest Light Base 600 will start in the DX version without fan for almost 140 euros in black and 150 euros in white. In the LX version, four Light Wings fans with a frame diameter of 140 mm are again pre-installed, with the new Light Wings LX models now used. The recommended price here is 175 and 185 euros.

Be quiet! announced the market launch date of the new light base boxes: be quiet! Light base 900 FX/DX and Light Base 600 LX/DX will be released on October 10. There are versions with and without pre-installed fans.
