By mod: German voice output for Oblivion Remastered 35 comments
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered (review) doesn’t offer German voice output, a mod now promises a remedy: the German voice patch was released on Nexus Mods this weekend. As an “early version,” it doesn’t yet play all audio files, and the output isn’t lip-synced.
However, workers are still working on the mod. However, the process is still “very inefficient,” which is why the pace is slow. How to install the mod is described in detail on Nexus Mods.
You must own both Oblivion Remastered and the original German version of Oblivion—some voices are still in English. This will be improved in a future version—some voices may not play at all for the time being. This will be improved in a future version as the build process is currently quite slow (some parts are still very inefficient) – LipSync still uses the English version
