Jan was at Computex 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan this week—where he’s still recording the 119th CB Radio episode. Between the final meeting in the old world building, Taipei 101, and the trip to the airport, Fabian reports on his impressions of the fair, the country, and the people, and what, in his opinion, were the major innovations. The GeForce RTX 5060, which had been discredited several times before its market debut, was certainly not a highlight, but perhaps the Radeon RX 9060 XT was? AMD delivers a very ambivalent product compared to the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. A finding that applies to Intel graphics cards such as the new B60 dual GPU solution with 48 GB VRAM. GeForce graphics cards in miniature form factor, Asus‘s BTF connector system for graphics cards without power cables, and AMD Board Partners’ Sapphire main boards were also notable.
