The Deepcool CH690 Digital is a glass case that can also be installed on its side. On the side, it also features a display that distinguishes all “digital” products from the manufacturer’s product catalog. It displays the temperatures of three components.

With glass on the front and side, the CH690, currently priced at around €91 in black and white, allows a deep insight into its inner workings. Despite the “normal” tower dimensions, the approximately 110-liter housing can be positioned sideways for the owner. This is ensured by the positioning of the I/O panel: it is located on the left. A display for three components

In addition, DeepCool uses a display that can show the temperatures, power consumption, usage, and fan speed of the CPU, graphics card, and power supply, like other digital products. To showcase components, the CH690 also has support for an LED strip. However, lamps and fans are not included.

takes place via the fan on the panel on the right side, the lid, and the rear. A special feature of the CH690 can be found on the rear: if no fan is used at the rear, an opening can be installed that reduces the mesh area for a more aesthetic design. Water cooling radiators can be used up to a size of 420 mm in the lid, 280 mm on the side, and 360 mm on the inner panel. Unusual restriction

There are hardly any restrictions on the components. The CH690 accommodates coolers and , which are supported by a holder if they are too long, but only up to 180 millimeters. Luxury may be too long.

The operating instructions show why this is so. The power supplies are not used at the rear, but through a cutout at the rear of the main board tray, which ends shortly before the side fan holders. One 2.5/3.5″ and two 2.5″ holders are provided for hard drives. They sit behind the main board—also a decision not to hinder the use of fans and radiators on the side.
