With the EUFY E15 and E18, Anchor not only released new lawnmower robots that can do without limited wires and plug antennas, but Dream is now launching its new flagship product with the A2. The launch comes with a discount.
Lidar Sensor for Navigation
The Dream Lawnmower Robot A2 is now available for €2,799, but buyers receive a €300 discount at launch. The A2 relies on Omnisense 2.0 technology for autonomous navigation. Compared to its predecessor, the Dream A1, it is expected to make significant progress and improve navigation and object recognition. Using a combination of “AI vision technology” and “environmental algorithms,” the system is designed to enable fully automated determination of mowing boundaries without the need for manual intervention, cabling, RTK base stations, or signaling beacons.

AI should no longer be missing when mowing the lawn. Dream announces obstacle recognition, for which you can also use a camera. The A2 reportedly has object recognition that recognizes a variety of objects – from garden appliances and hoses to animals – and evades them.
Edge cutting system
So that there is no grass on the edge of the lawn, Drene claims to have improved the cutting system called Edgemaster. The cutting disc, which is extended outside, leaves a 5 cm rim, which is best covered with boundary stones at ground level so that no rework is necessary.

Application control for zones and times
The A2 can be connected to the Dream app, which allows the individual adjustment of mowing areas, times and cutting heights. With the app, multiple zones can be managed so that the mower can work on different areas of the lawn. Additionally, users can create mowing templates.

Real-time monitoring with the lawn mower
In addition to mowing, the Omnissense 2.0 system offers extended functions for garden safety. Users can monitor their garden in real time via camera, set up patrol tasks and receive immediate notifications when human activities are recognized. This feature can be turned on or off as needed.
With the DreamE-Link module, the A2 can also stay connected in real time in areas with a weak Wi-Fi signal. Users can track the location of the mower via Google Maps as soon as it leaves the defined area, it will receive a warning via the app.
