Precision Farming was one of the most popular mods for its predecessor, with over 5 million downloads. It will now return to Agricultural Simulator 25 on May 8th. The free download brings six new machines, field crossings, and all the features of Precision Farming to Agricultural Simulator 22.
Greater Realism and Sustainability for Farmers
This could be one of the most anticipated announcements from the Agricultural Simulator 25 community. Giants Software has announced Precision Farming for May 8th, 2025, and given a sneak peek at the new features.
With Precision Farming, not only are a few new machines added, but also a whole new level of realism. With this addition, recreational farmers receive temporary fruits such as oil radish, which partially replace conventional fertilizer methods and thus save the introduction of nitrogen, i.e., more environmentally friendly state subsidies. Overall, the focus is on resource-saving use of fertilizers while simultaneously increasing yields.
Once fertilizer or manure is applied, appropriate dosage adjustments can then be made using controlled nozzles for the respective locations on the field. Until now, in case of doubt, a job was simply fertilized twice, with no further positive effect. With precision farming, syringes or manure readers will automatically turn off your nozzles if they have already been fertilized at that point. This does not affect the fertilized or missed location, and at the same time, saves manure or fertilizer. The existing soil type, pH value, nitrogen content per hectare, and the status of soil treatment, weed control, and weed control can also be analyzed by the player. Six new machines
In line with the new features, downloading Precision Farming also brings new machines. Six are mentioned by Giants Software in the blog post. Not all of them are known yet:

Precision Farming, also known as smart farming or precision agriculture, is an initiative launched by John Deere and various educational institutions to achieve more sustainable agriculture by targeting relevant technologies. With greater efficiency through reduced use of conventional agricultural resources such as water, fuel, fertilizers, and seeds, equal or higher yields are to be achieved.
