Frame 4500 and 5000d, Air 5400: Corsair builds modular cases with displays and three chambers
With the Frame 4500X and 5000D, and the Air 5400, Corsair is relying on unusual cases for Computex 2025. They have a display option, are modular, and can be modified. They focus specifically on design, relying on a three-chamber case with air guides.
Frame 5000d: Modular in a larger size
The Frame 5000D presents Corsair as a larger version of the Frame 4000d (review). The new model also remains modular and can be adapted with accessories and adjustment options. This includes a new display module, which can be installed in front of the power supply NOIs instead of the mesh grille. The display must also be available separately. As with the Zalman Z10 DS, it can then be individually configured.

In addition, the 5000D’s relocatable cable holder, which can be moved to a socket-style mount, and new cable routing options. There are more 140mm fans and hard drives. The 5000D comes with four RS140 fans, which are black or illuminated depending on the version. To facilitate water cooling, the 5000D also has openings for the fill and drain ports. A mounting option is already available for the Corsair control panel’s ICue Link.
Frame 4500X: Design in the Foreground
The 4500X frame can also be designed with new accessories, but for the first time Corsair uses rounded edges, an L-shaped glass window, and a “fishbowl design.” Cooling is therefore primarily via the right side panel, where three 120mm fans sit with an inverted rotor. Design is also at the forefront when it comes to the fan covers: the lines of the fan grille should remind you of a waterfall.
Other fans can be installed via sliding brackets, Corsair’s “Infinity Rail System,” under the cover and at the rear. The housing is available in black or white with standard LX series fans with RS or ICue-Link compatibility.

Air 5400: Three Chambers
The Air 5400 is Corsair’s first three-chamber housing. The cube divides its front: the left side is the main chamber, covered in glass and housing the main and expansion cards. The right side is covered with a mesh fan, and the air outlet is located on the right side. The advantage: a CPU cooler can be operated separately from the rest of the housing, Corsair writes. A third chamber is provided for the power supply and hard drives.
The airflow from the fans behind the mesh front, like that at the bottom of the case, is directed to the correct areas using plastic air ducts. To ensure clean cable routing, the Air 5400 also features a cover card solution for cable holders behind the main board tray. For ventilation, Corsair is once again relying on three RS or LX fans.
Corsair has not yet provided information on pricing and availability of the new housing.
