Samsung has begun shipping the Galaxy A52 mid-range smartphone. The new firmware version A526BXXSCGYC1 closes several vulnerabilities. The update is currently being distributed in Ireland and is expected to reach other countries in the coming days.
Of the 58 security vulnerabilities listed, Samsung has classified 11 vulnerabilities as particularly critical. The manufacturer is still assessing 38 other vulnerabilities with high potential for harm. Galaxy A52 owners can initiate the update directly via the device settings or install it manually using the ODIN software on a Windows computer. Plus Android 15
The Galaxy A52, launched in 2021 with Android 11, has now arrived with Android 14. According to Samsung, this model will no longer be updated to Android 15, and therefore not to One UI 7.0. If you enjoy the latest version of Google’s operating system, you should upgrade to the recently released Galaxy A56.
