Galaxy S25 Slim: Samsung‘s Unpacked event teaser shows four smartphones 66 comments

Samsung could have more than the three expected smartphones at the upcoming Unpacked event in January. A teaser mentions January 22 as the date and this time suggests four Galaxy S25s. The fourth smartphone could be the “Galaxy S25 Slim”, which should be particularly thin, just like Apple plans for the “iPhone 17 Air”.
The next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for January 22, reports Evan Blass at the usually accurate X, based on a teaser of the event from Italy. Samsung has not officially announced Unpacked yet.
Four Galaxy S25 models instead of three
After the announcement of the three current models Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra (hands-on) in January this year, it was previously assumed that there would also be three devices in the Galaxy S25 family for 2025. However, the teaser shows a fourth device, so we can expect an additional smartphone in addition to the much-vaunted Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra.
Galaxy S25 Slim expected with 200 megapixels
It could be the “Galaxy S25 Sim” or the “Galaxy Slim” which was recently circulating in the rumor mill (X). The smartphone should not only be particularly thin and light, but also be superior to the base model Galaxy S25 in areas such as the camera. We’re talking about a 200 MP main camera based on the company’s ISOCELL HP5 sensor, as is also expected for the Galaxy S25 Ultra after the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
