Alternatives
The market for independent cloud gaming providers has declined significantly in recent years. In addition to GeForce, there is also the provider Shadow, which, however, virtualizes an entire PC, which can then be used accordingly for other tasks – and not just for starting game launchers. There, however, a graphics performance of an RTX 3070 Ti is offered for 49.98 euros per month. With even less performance, it starts at 19.99 euros.
Another alternative is Amazon’s Luna+. However, this service only supports linking with Ubisoft and GOG accounts and is therefore very limited in its list of supported titles. The cost is €9.99 per month, and the service is offered up to 1080p. Amazon doesn’t provide more detailed information on the graphics performance offered.
GeForce now simulates an RTX 4080 and offers resolutions up to 4K HDR in the Ultimate subscription. The cost of a 6-month subscription is at the Ultimate level, at approximately €18.33 per month. The Performance subscription costs half the same: €9.17 per month.
