The first day of the fair is intended for trade visitors and the media, but individuals can obtain a generic day ticket for €64 to gain admission to the entertainment area in the exhibition center on August 20th from 1 p.m. With proper credentials, trade visitors can now register. MIT Early Access Bundles
This time, Gamescom is also offering an early access package. The “Superfan Bundle” costs 90 euros and applies to the live opening night on August 19th and a wildcard at the Trade Visitor and Media Day on August 20th. Admission starts at 1 p.m. in the “Superfan Bundle Plus” for 125 euros. There’s an overnight stay at the Gamescom Camp from Tuesday to Wednesday, for which a separate tent is required.
Day tickets start at 30.50 euros.
The matchday fair regularly begins on August 21st. Ticket prices are lower on the Thursday and Friday before the weekend. For August 20th and 21st, the day ticket is €30.50, and €10 will be charged for the evening ticket starting at 4 p.m. Students, trainees, social workers, retirees, and seniors aged 65 and over, as well as people with severe disabilities, can purchase reduced day tickets at a price of €22.
Family Pass for €68
A family pass for €68 is also available for official days. This ticket is designed for a maximum of five people, with one to a maximum of two adults and at least one to a maximum of three or four children aged 7 to 12. For children over the age of 13, an additional reduced day ticket is required for €22. The general rule at Gamescom is: no admission for children under 4 years old—even if accompanied by parents.
Childcare for children 4 years old
The organizer has set up childcare services for children 4 years old and older in the entertainment area. For the first time this year, there is also a childcare option for children up to 3 years old in the business area. This is intended to support specialized visitors with young children who require care during their visit to Gamescom.
Saturday is the most expensive
It will cost more on Saturday, August 23rd, before the lower prices for August 21st and 22nd apply again on Sunday. On Saturday, the day ticket is 40 euros, reduced by 31.50 euros. The evening ticket price is 12.50 euros, and families must pay 84.50 euros.
