After Xiaomi, Chinese gaming smartphone manufacturer Redmagic is one of the first smartphone suppliers with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. In the Redmagic 10 Pro, the new chip is cooled by a mini RGB fan that spins up to 23,000 rpm. The smartphone also has a 7,050 mAh battery.
Redmagic initially announced the smartphone for the Chinese market today; the international announcement will follow on December 3 with a launch on December 18. In China, the Redmagic 10 Pro costs from 650 euros with 12 GB/256 GB, with 12 GB/512 GB it is 720 euros. Like the Redmagic 10 Pro+, the smartphone is offered in 16 GB/512 GB for 785 euros and in 24 GB/1 TB for 980 euros. In the “X Golden Saga” edition with “luxurious materials”, the price rises to 1,270 euros.
Snapdragon 8 Elite also cools a mini fan

7,050 mAh silicon-carbon battery
The case also contains a very large 7,050 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Honor also uses in the Magic 6 series. The supplier explains that the energy density has been increased by 25 percent compared to its predecessor without increasing the depth or overall weight. The battery of the Redmagic 10 Pro can be charged with up to 120 watts using a suitable power supply.
OLED panel with narrow bezels
BOE supplies the OLED display with narrow bezels. The 6.85-inch panel has a 1.25 mm wide black border, followed in the top view by the 0.7 mm wide housing frame, resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%. The display offers 2,688 × 1,216 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Redmagic specifies a maximum brightness of up to 2,000 cd/m².
Dual camera with Samsung sensors
Features such as cameras tend to take a back seat on the Redmagic 10 Pro, but consist of a 16 MP lens for selfies and two 50 MP lenses, both based on Samsung sensors for the wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras.
