GEFORCE 576.02 WHQL: Numerous bug fixes for black screens and game crashes 25 comments
With version 576.02 WHQL, NVIDIA is bringing the first Game Ready driver for the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. More gamers are likely to be interested today: it is concerned about numerous issues with black screens and game crashes. Multi-Frame DLSS generation is also offered for Black Myth: Wukong and more space in Hell 2.
Mandatory for all RTX 5060 TI buyers
Anyone who has chosen a brand-new GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (review) has no alternative, as it is the first driver to support the new graphics card. But there’s also plenty to offer for all other NVIDIA graphics card owners: additional support for around 20 monitors, game-ready for two games that have received a DLSS MFG upgrade, as well as new “optimal” graphics settings and over 40 bug fixes, as well as CUDA 12.9 support.

Game-ready for two playdates with DLSS-MFG support
Black Myth: Wukong (in the benchmark test) has received an upgrade. The action game now supports DLSS 4 Super Resolution with the Transformer model and DLSS 4 multi-frame generation. More space in Hell 2 has also been considered with an update and receives DLSS multi-camera generation. The co-op shooter has been playable as an Early Access title since October 2024, but hasn’t even managed to attract a second player on the Steam store since then.
19 new monitors delight the driver
Nearly 20 G-Sync-compatible monitors have joined Nvidia’s list of officially supported monitors. This includes nine different manufacturers, from ACER and ASUS to Dell, HP, and Samsung. Automatic Graphics Settings in 6 New Games
NVIDIA’s database of games for which the Nvidia application (test) automatically adjusts graphics settings, as NVIDIA considers optimal, is steadily growing. Six games are added with this driver release:
Deadlock, Grand Theft Auto V (Enhanced), Half-Life 2 with RTX, Monster Hunter Wilds (The Last of Us Part II Remastered),
Fixed and Known Bugs
With 41 bugs and issues fixed according to the official changelog, the number of improvements in this driver is significantly higher than with regular minor releases.
Fifteen bugs are fixed in Nvidia’s game lists. These include a crash in Monster Hunter Wilds (benchmark test) if certain quests were started with DLSS frame generation enabled. In the final part of Part 1 (benchmark test), a crash caused by smooth movement was also fixed. Star Wars Outlaws (Benchmark Test) players should now be able to leave the game actively running for five minutes without activity. Other bug fixes affect Inzoi, Overwatch 2, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 (Benchmark Test), and various VSYNC issues.
Nvidia is assigning 26 more bug fixes to applications. Stability issues under Windows 11 24h2, blue screens with DLSS 4 MFG, and eight issues related to the RTX 50 series are fixed. This again includes bug fixes that are supposed to address the black screen issue.
This black screen issue also includes one of three open issues, so that with an RTX 50 notebook graphics card, a black screen can still occur when returning from Modern Standby mode. Another open issue is a crash in Cyberpunk 2077 when using Photo Mode with Pathtrace enabled, and Red Dead Redemption 2 can crash immediately after startup under DirectX 12 – this does not occur under Volcano.
