GEFORCE RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 TI: Market launch rumored in April and May

RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 TI: Market launch rumored for April and May

The NVIDIA GTC 2025 is nearing completion, and an official announcement of the GeForce RTX 5060 (TI) is still pending. Given that Nvidia didn't take advantage of the performance opportunity on a major stage this week, a March launch is off the table. But when will the cards appear now? April and May are currently rumored.

The RTX 5060 Ti is rumored to be the first to appear.

As so often, current rumors are being traced back to Chinese sources with industry connections, in this BoardChannel forum. A post was picked up by X-User HXL, known for leaks and video card development. According to information shared on the onboard channel, a market launch of the RTX 5060 (TI) was initially planned for late March or early April and was pushed back by Nvidia. Board members were informed that the RTX 5060 Ti would launch in mid-April; the RTX 5060, on the other hand, is expected to be a long wait and not reach the market until mid-May.

Leaks should be viewed with great caution

In the recent past, leaks and predictions for the release or announcement of smaller Blackwell have been regularly inaccurate. Last week, on March 12, Videocardz reported that Nvidia would officially unveil the GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 TI the following day—a date unknown. Due to serious doubts about the accuracy of this information, Techastuce also refrained from reporting.

While the expected launch and pricing of the smaller Blackwell graphics cards is still unclear, the specifications of the cards are now almost certain. The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti will come in two variants with 8GB or 16GB of video memory. The smaller GeForce RTX 5060 will stick with a meager 8GB of VRAM.
